Come join us for an engaging, mindful art lesson and reset to pull you out of the depth-of-winter grays.
This art form requires no previous art skills or special materials. It may start you on a creative journey, or, for already practicing artists, it may be a great way to kickstart a new bout of creativity.
The act of making art is good for the brain because it decreases stress levels and increases focus. As Pablo Picasso once said, "Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life."
Learn:
· A mindful form of art that you can do any time with the materials available to you.
· To be fearless at using mediums you may not have used before (watercolors, markers, ink, acrylic).
· That art can be simple and rewarding at the same time.
Create:
· You'll have the opportunity to complete a number of small works using a variety of papers and media, and take with you the ability to do larger pieces as this art form is readily scalable.
