Saltire Gallerie is located in the original 1794 home of Scottish immigrant James Hogg. Enjoy this authentic restoration in the two front parlor rooms featuring Scottish art and artists in honor of the family that lived here nearly 100 years. The property also features an old log cabin with stone fireplace and 19th century outbuilding that are being restored.
The owners, Laurel and Sidney Kilgore, have a long relationship with Scotland, and fell in love with the house known as 'Banks of the Eno' (Alba oan th' Eno). Restoration continues, and they are thankful to the many local tradespeople who are bringing the house to life! Their Gallerie of Art and two acres of gardens offer elegance with a rustic touch.
Enjoy networking in a relaxed and casual atmosphere! Have a glass of wine and snacks while you mix and mingle with Hillsborough Chamber members, staff and board members at the beautiful Saltire Gallerie. Don't forget your business cards!
