Start Your 2019 More Mindfully

In this 6-week drop-in series, Dr. Caroline Hexdall will teach participants about the foundations of mindfulness and how they can apply it to many facets of their lives. There will be teaching, sharing among participants, and resources provided. Participants will leave having a greater sense of understanding of mindfulness and how they can continue its pursuit for further exploration or apply it in their daily lives.
Dates: Fridays from 12-1:30pm, January 18-February 22.
Week 1, January 18: The science behind why and how mindfulness works
Week 2, January 25: The "what do I do and how do I do it?" of mindfulness
Week 3, February 1: Mindfulness of difficult emotions
Week 4, February 8: Mindfulness in relationship with ourselves
Week 5, February 15: Mindfulness in relationship with others
Week 6, February 22: Developing a lasting practice
