Green Home Tour

The Triangle Green Home Tour features innovative, high-performance and unique homes in various stages of construction open to everyone for a free self-guided tour. Tour dates are April 29-30 and May 6-7, Noon – 5 pm. A green building professional greets you at each entry site to answer questions and detail that home’s particular green features. This year, there are 30 homes on the tour, including homes in Durham (4 homes), Orange (8 homes), Chatham (9 homes), Wake (6 homes), Granville (2 homes) and Person County (1 home). Homes on the tour have been third-party certified through the National Green Building Standards (NGBS), EcoSelect or EnergyStar programs.
