Event Description:
Hillsborough Running Club was founded in 2013, and operate weekly club runs from Weaver Street Market. Despite the young age of the club, it has been a long time goal of the clubs founding members to bring a half marathon distance race back to Hillsborough. Hillsborough Running Club is very pleased to present the inaugural Historic Hillsborough Half Marathon and 5K road races. Both the half marathon and 5K routes have been designed to showcase many of Hillsborough?s historic sites, and scenic routes.
