Learn: • Different methods for embossing and impressing • How to enhance embossed images with acrylic Create: • An embossing sampler • An 8x10 embossing embellished w acrylic paint Creating art and design on metal using embossed and impressed details is an exciting way to incorporate three-dimensional art on a flat sheet of metal. Students will transfer their own drawing or design onto a metal sheet. Embossing and impressing methods will be demonstrated and used to transform the art with detail and 3D qualities. Completed pieces may remain brilliant, be painted and/or antiqued. There’s nothing quite like transforming a flat sheet of metal into a decorative sculptural art piece! This workshop is designed for adults and mature teens, age 16 and up. No prior art experience required. $49, all supplies included. Maximum enrollment of 8 to ensure individualized attention.
