Date: July 2, 2017
Time: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM EDT
Event Description:
Experience authentic Hillsborough on Sunday, July 2, 11 am - 3 pm, at the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough’s fourth annual Picnic in the Park celebration.

Named one of America’s Coolest Small Towns, Hillsborough’s downtown historic district is filled with historic eighteenth and nineteenth century architecture, amazing restaurants, a host of spectacular art galleries, and plenty of small town charm.

This year’s Picnic in the Park will further emphasize the community’s commitment to cultural conservation with performances by Music Maker Relief Foundation artists The Glorifying Vines, Harvey Dalton Arnold, Thomas Rhyant’s Sam Cooke Revue, and Cool John Ferguson. Additional activities and information tables from local nonprofit and community groups will also take place throughout the event, including a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, face painting, crafts, yard games, and more. Bring a picnic or buy lunch at one of several food trucks which will be on site, including Taco Grande, Chez Moi, Bo’s Kitchen, and more.
