Event Description:
Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, is a common agenda item at every political forum right now. But really, what is the TPP and how would it affect your business? This meeting's speaker is Shireeff Loza of the US Department of Commerce. Mr. Loza will brief our attendees on the TPP. We will have a panel discussion with some of our very own Chamber Members to learn how they deal with international trade on a daily basis.
About Our Speaker: Shirreef Loza is a Senior International Trade Specialist with the United States Department of Commerce, U.S. Commercial Service in Raleigh, NC. In this role, Shirreef actively works with commercial specialists in Washington, D.C. and U.S. Embassies and Consulates throughout the world to promote North Carolina businesses, schools and organizations internationally. Since 2003, Shirreef has held a variety of leadership roles on the U.S. Commerce IT, Education, and Healthcare industry teams, and served as Deputy Leader for the Africa/Near East/South Asia regional team.
