Event Description:
Join the Hillsborough Chamber for our 1st Member Breakfast of 2016! Our speaker will be Secretary of the Department of Transportation, Nick Tennyson. He will provide a general overview of NCDOT as well as an update on Orange County transportation issues as they relate to the Governor’s 25 Year Vision for economic growth and improved connectivity.
About Our Speaker: Tennyson was appointed Secretary in August 2015.Prior to assuming the role of Secretary, Tennyson served as the department's Chief Deputy Secretary. He also served for three months as Interim Commissioner of the Division of Motor Vehicles. Tennyson is the former Mayor of Durham, a role he held from 1997-2001.
