Hillsborough is not only historic, it's hip and happening! Sundays In Hillsborough from September 2nd through November 4th is your opportunity to come and discover all we have to offer!
Concerts on the Old Courthouse lawn, 2:00-5:00 PM
If it is raining, the music will be moved to nearby Hot Tin Roof.
Local Shops and Eateries, Hillsborough Riverwalk, Art Galleries, Historic Sites & Tours

10/14 – Jazz Tones - Handmade Parade at 2:30pm, Music Starts Following

10/28 – Will McBride Group
11/4 – She Bop
In addition to the music, shops, restaurants, galleries and historic sites will be open so that visitors can shop, eat and enjoy all we have to offer while still listening to the music that fills the Downtown. On September 9th, the Downtown Hillsborough Merchants will hold a Sidewalk Sale to coincide with Sundays in Hillsborough. On the other Sundays, select merchants and restaurants will feature something special just for Sundays in Hillsborough visitors who stop in to shop & eat including exhibits, discounts & specials, activities, and featured products. 11/4 – Volume Records & Beer
Mystery Brewing Company and Botanist & Barrel will be on hand to sell their beers and ciders each of the 10 Sundays, and Whit’s Frozen Custard will be selling their frozen treats each Sunday September 2nd through October 21st. Also new to this year’s Sundays in Hillsborough will be a hayride (weather permitting) that will loop between Downtown and West Hillsborough (except October 14th due to Handmade Parade).
